Using staple, British products doesn’t, by any stretch of the imagination, mean that what you rustle up with them has to be dull, homely, or even vaguely reminiscent of the no-nonsense food of our parents’ generation. We love the idea of creating something different and exotic with locally-sourced, everyday ingredients – like using your farm-fresh eggs in Ottolenghi’s gorgeous Shakshuka.
