Hugh originally contacted Brown Cow Organics in the hope that they could help him make ice cream. However, Hugh was offered their yoghurt on their first meeting and from then on Hugh was sold. So the River Cottage Yoghurt story began. Hours were spent around the table in Somerset, tasting yoghurt and developing recipes for the seasonal fruit range. Keeping strictly to Hugh's love of seasonal products, the River Cottage yoghurt flavours are always changing throughout the year, matching the British fruit season.
