After attending university together they started out in different fields before reuniting to create buveur. in the summer of 2018. Rob began to seriously develop his mixology skills working in private super-chalets in the Swiss alps, where taste always came before price. This philosophy of simply finding the best ingredients, regardless of price combined with a passion for British spirits, lead to the creation of buveur. While Rob was away shaking and stirring, Sam was honing his design skills in the world of film. Deep in the heart of Soho Sam had a vision for a brand that showcased the golden era of hotel bars. Designing by day and exploring the incredible drinks menus of Soho by night, Sam spent his time researching the places and people that made so many of the great cocktails possible.
