Ouse Valley Foods was founded in 2004 by Julian Warrender. She is renowned for her innovation and creativity making award winning jellies, chutneys, jams, conserves, marmalades and fresh products.
We are based on Ashgrove Farm in East Sussex, close to the river Ouse from where we get our name. Herons are often to be seen stalking the river providing the inspiration for our logo. We are passionate about the seasonality and provenance of what we make, using nothing but the freshest, most natural ingredients. As much as possible our produce comes from local growers so we ensure authenticity and quality. No artificial preservatives or colours are ever used and each batch is cooked in small numbers to safeguard quality.
Seasonal specialities are an important part of our range, we love to create unusual concoctions! We value the country-sides abundance. Berries and blossoms are considerately picked and used to flavour and spike jellies and jams creating unique blends and colours.
