Since 1813 the Négrel family has devoted itself heart and soul to wine growing constantly working to improve the land and handing down knowledge from father to son. In relative terms the family are relative newcomers as fragments of amphorae dating back to Roman times were found on the estate by the 5th generation. Today Guy Négrel, who was the main instigator of the AOC Ste Victoire, has handed over the running estate to his children, 7th generation Mathieu and Maud - a great team!
Their award winning organic Rosé from the foothills of Cézanne Mont Sainte Victoire can be found in some of the very best Michelin starred restaurants throughout France, and with good reason. It is exactly what you would expect of a very serious Provencal Rosé: dry, delicate and beautifully salmon pink!
