Roam & Relish is part of Eversfield Organic Farm; a family run farm that nestles deep in the heart of the Devon countryside on the edge of Dartmoor.
Eversfield’s journey began as an interest in farming from Mark as a child. As his parents lived abroad he would regularly stay at his friends’ houses from school, many of which lived on farms. He noticed that the cows and sheep did not eat grass and instead ate grains, something he did not know cows and sheep ate. After becoming an astute businessman he felt the time had come to pursue his real lifelong dream of having a farm where the animals live a natural life, including the cows and sheep eating grass.
Mark, his daughter Anna and son Hamish moved to Devon and the three of them worked together in order to make beneficial changes to the farm by managing the land properly, having wildlife return, and caring for happy animals, which has resulted in producing the best quality of meat. Overall Mark, Anna and Hamish’s main priority is quality; which is applied to all parts of the company and its products. From the upkeep of the soil and grass, the high quality care for the animals, the butchering in the state of the art fully EU Licensed butchery on the farm; right through to the packing of our products.
