We deliver these leaves with their roots on to enable optimum freshness and longevity. As they are still alive they need to be kept in 2cm of water at room temperature until use.

This herb has a unique acidity that makes a delightful addition to eggs, potatoes, soups and gratins, or in a creamy sauce that goes along with the main course. The red veins give a beautiful contrast as a garnish and the pronounced tang also works well in a dessert to brighten and offset the sweet taste. Weight excludes roots. .

Storage Information

Place in a vase/glass/whatever you have handy and keep alive by filling with 2cm of water as soon as possible. Keep this topped up and store at room temperature. As the plants are living they do not like being kept in the fridge.
