Store in a cool, dark and dry area. After opening, keep in a sealed container.
Minimum 180 days
For best results use the traditional Malawian method. 1. For 2 people use 200g rice and 300ml water. Measure water into a medium saucepan and bring to the boil. Add salt. 2. Measure rice and rinse. Tip into boiling water, stir once and cover. Simmer 4 to 5 minutes, then turn off heat and allow rice to gradually absorb water for 15 minutes until tender. Do not stir during cooking. 3. Check that the rice is tender and water is absorbed. Fluff with a fork before serving.
