Organic broccoli offers a wealth of vitamins and antioxidants. However, these can be destroyed if given the old-fashioned (over-boiling) treatment - a brief steaming of the florets does the trick, or pop in a covered bowel in the microwave with a spoonful of water.
The leaves and stems need not be discarded - simply steam for a little less, and longer, respectively, than the florets, and serve all together.
Store unwashed in the fridge for 3-5 days. Wash before use.
