Willie's Cacao sources its beans from its own Venezuelan plantation as well as other single-estates in the country, and from Peru, Colombia, Madagascar and Indonesia. The beans are Criollo and Trinitario - not as high yielding as the more common Forastero hybrid strain, but far tastier. In addition, Willie's Cacao's direct trade model means the cocoa farmers receive above fair trade prices for their crop.
