Chilli & Lime Salted Palomas



Sweet, sour, salty and spicy, this smoky mezcal Paloma is a refreshing cocktail for warm summer days.

Here’s how you do it

Chilli Salt Rim

  1. Drizzle a little lime juice on a small plate and chilli salt on another.
  2. Dip the rims of two tumblers into the lime juice, then the chilli salt. Reserve.


  1. Shake all the ingredients except the soda water hard together, then strain into the salted tumblers.
  2. Add a slice of lime and some ice, and top up with soda water if you prefer a longer drink.


  • 100ml mezcal
  • 20ml agave syrup
  • 20ml lime juice, plus extra for salting the glasses
  • 120ml pink grapefruit juice
  • Lime slice to serve
  • Soda water to top up - optional*
  • Chilli salt
  • Ice
