Caramelised Onion Marmalade Burgers

You can't beat a burger for a BBQ, whether it's a juicy beef patty or a plant based burger. Serve with salad and potato wedges.

Here’s how you do it

  1. Cook the patty of your choice on the BBQ or grill.
  2. Around 3 minutes before it has finished cooking, add a slice of cheddar cheese on top so it becomes melted and gooey.
  3. Cut the brioche bun in half and add to the barbecue or grill for 1-2 minutes until lightly toasted.
  4. Once cooked, add the patty with melted cheese to the brioche bun, and spoon on a rather healthy portion of Tracklements Caramelised Onion Marmalade. Add in sliced red onions, gherkins, sliced tomatoes and lettuce.


  • 4 beef burgers / Moving Mountains® plant based burgers (or a mix)
  • 4 brioche buns
  • 4 tbsps Tracklements Caramelised Onion Marmalade
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 1 sliced red onion
  • 2 sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced gherkins (optional)
  • A few lettuce leaves
