Sticky Chicken Wings

Sticky, sweet, sour and strictly finger food! These make a great lunch served with a little salad or perfect to pull out of the oven when your friends are over.

Here's how you do it

  1. Pre-heat the oven to 200 C.

  2. Pluck any stray feathers from the wings.

  3. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, not foil (this will make your life a lot easier when it comes to washing up!)

  4. Generously sprinkle sea salt over the wings and pop in the oven for 25 minutes.

  5. Make up the marinade by mixing lemon zest, juice, honey, mustard and crushed garlic together.

  6. Remove wings from the oven and toss in the marinade. Pop back in the oven fro 20 minutes.

  7. Sprinkle over sesame seeds and serve with lemon wedges.


  • 12 chicken wings
  • 3 lemons (2 for juice and zest, 1 for serving)
  • 5 cloves garlic, peeled & crushed
  • 2 heaped tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp grain mustard
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
