Strawberry Lime Mojito

This British spin on the classic Cuban cocktail uses the best of the season's fresh strawberries, which pair perfectly with white rum, zesty lime and freshly muddled mint.

Here’s how you do it

  1. At the bottom of a tall glass, muddle together 1 strawberry, 1 segment of lime and 10 mint leaves.
  2. Next add two tablespoons of sugar and another two lime quarters. Muddle the mixture for a a few seconds until everything is well combined.
  3. Fill the glass with ice. Add 50ml white rum, top up with soda water and stir well.
  4. Garnish with the final segment of lime and a strawberry. Give a couple of mint leaves a slap (this helps release the flavour) and add to the glass.


  • 2 strawberries
  • 1/2 a lime, sliced into quarter segments
  • 12 mint leaves
  • 50ml white rum

  • Soda water
